Aesica Names Global Technical Director

Bashir Hansraj has been appointed global technical director at Aesica, responsible for developing lead technical centers across the company’s network from API and drug product development sites through to finished product manufacturing and packaging. Mr. Hansraj will be based at Aesica’s headquarters in Newcastle UK. The technical centers will be dedicated to specific dosage forms including: oral solids, oral liquids, topicals, inhalation and parenterals.
 
Mr. Hansraj has more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and held senior management R&D positions at Pfizer Consumer Healthcare, J&J, Pfizer Global R&D and most recently at Catalent, where he was head of R&D.
